Description
KRAES baby bath with oats and coconut is a natural and soap-free bath for daily/weekly use. Oats promote a normal pH value and maintain a protective barrier on the skin, while coconut milk has moisturizing properties.
Saponins in oats (soapwort) naturally cleanse the skin, with the advantage that the baby's skin is not dried out at the same time, which often happens with synthetic surfactants, in addition, saponins have anti-inflammatory properties. Oats contain a high proportion of natural active substances such as beta-glucan, avenanthramides, lipids/oils and proteins.
Oats and coconut have a documented soothing or healing effect on:
- skin irritations
- chickenpox
- dry and itchy skin
- sunburn
- hives
- reaction to insect bite
- nettle reaction
- and much more…
Coconut is known to:
- have a beautiful and soothing scent
- relieve dehydrated/irritated skin by removing harmful bacteria from the skin
- Add plenty of moisture so the skin regains its elasticity and healthy complexion
- contain fatty acids, vitamins, omega-3 and not least lauric, caprylic and capric acids, which are known for their anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties.
Oats are known to:
- be antipruritic
- could relieve redness and reduce inflammation/swelling
- normalize an imbalanced pH; reduce itching
- moisturize
Application:
- Add 2-3 spoonfuls (spoon included) under running water in the baby's bathtub.
- Dissolve any lumps with your fingers.
- Let your baby bathe for at least 5 minutes.
- Keep a good grip on your baby, as both baby and the bath can be slippery.
- Do not rinse with water, as KRAES baby bath has a protective effect.
- Pat dry with a soft towel.
- After use, rinse the bathtub and any bath toys with water.
